1. About this app

Vehicle Information is an independent informational Android application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, the Parivahan Sewa portal, the VAHAN database, any Regional Transport Office (RTO), the Government of India or any of its agencies.

2. Source of information

All vehicle, owner, challan, RTO, insurance and driving licence details shown in the App are aggregated from publicly available Government of India sources. We do not own, control, modify or guarantee this data.

3. No warranty

Information is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty — express or implied — regarding accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for any particular purpose. Always verify against the official Parivahan / VAHAN portals before relying on this data for any legal, financial or contractual purpose.

4. Permitted use

You may use the App only for lawful, personal purposes such as verifying details of a vehicle you own, are buying or are otherwise legitimately interested in. You agree not to:

• Use the App to harass, stalk, defraud or harm any individual.
• Scrape, mass-download, resell or redistribute data obtained through the App.
• Use the App in violation of any applicable Indian law including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from the App.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher of the App will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including (but not limited to) inaccurate data, missed challan notifications or expired insurance/PUC reminders.

6. Advertisements

The App is free and is supported by advertisements served through Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of those ads. Please report any inappropriate advertising to support@vehicleinfo.io.

7. Trademarks

"Parivahan", "VAHAN", "Government of India", state RTO logos and any other trademarks shown in this App or website belong to their respective owners. References to them are nominative and do not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at your local jurisdiction in India.
