Does the Vehicle Information app work for all Eicher models?
Yes. Every Eicher vehicle ever registered in India is in the VAHAN database and looks up correctly through the app — current models like Pro 2049 as well as older models that are no longer in production.
Can I check a used Eicher vehicle's accident history?
The VAHAN / Parivahan database does not store accident history. For that you need: (1) the Eicher authorised service centre records, or (2) an insurance claim history from the insurer. The app shows you the current insurance status which is a useful starting point.
How do I find the engine number of a Eicher vehicle?
The engine number is stamped on the engine block (visible after opening the bonnet). It's also printed on the RC. The Vehicle Information app shows the engine number in the RC tab.
Are Eicher commercial vehicles available with BH (Bharat) series plates?
Yes — eligible owners (Govt / defence / PSU / 4-state private employees) can register a new Eicher vehicle directly with BH series at any RTO. See our BH series guide for eligibility.
